OUR 5 FUNDAMENTAL STEPS:
- 1. READING LABELS
- 2. SORTING
- 4. SETTING THE WATER TEMPERATURE AND CYCLE
- 4. DRY CLEANING PROCESS
- 5. FINAL CHECKING
Yes! We do read the labels of your items every time. It’s essential to know whether an item can be machined washed or not. Most of the fabric has properties to determine their reaction to heat, water, and cleaning solvent. Therefore, our experts decide on how to wash the clothes according to the special care of cotton, wool, or synthetic fabrics.
At Door 2 Door, our professionals sort the laundry by color, darks go together, whites go together and lights go together. Then, each pile gets its own load in the washer. In this step, our specialists sort each pile one more time by the type of fabric. For example, in the white piles, separate towels, and sheets from apparel. When we separate and wash by fabric, we can use different water temperature and it keeps drying cycle simple.
Different types of clothes and items need different temperatures, a fact! For instance, underwear and bedsheets need hot water to remove body oil. Also, we should choose the best washer cycle for the fabrics in the load.
The primary process comes right after pre-spotting. Here, the fabric is put in the machine and treated with a solvent. In this step, there are rapid spins that clothes get rid of any excess solvent and release warm air.
We double-check everything before the load of washer. It takes a bit of time but it will save us from any last-minute mistakes.
Although we exercise great care in cleaning your garments and follow the instructions on the care label, we do not accept responsibility for damage of laundry or dry cleaning resulting from the normal process of cleaning. This includes loss of buttons, beading, or accessories or any items left in pockets. Nor do we accept responsibility for fading, shrinkage or dyes which are liable to run or dissolve in the process of cleaning.
Liability of loss or damage will be limited to an amount not exceeding 5 times the cleaning charge of the item. All claims must be made within 24 hours after delivery of garments and must be accompanied by the original docket and the garment concerned.
